Lake Nacimiento is a haven for camping and water sports and is only less than 30 minutes from Paso Robles. The lake is 18 mile long and provides ample room for waterskiing, wakeboarding, jet skiing, and other water-related activities. The water levels are the best we have seen in several years. As of September 23th of 2011 the water levels are 75% of capacity. The end of Summer is over! It's still hot the water is warm and no one is taking advantage of the lake. It's like having your own private lake, especially on weekdays.
